CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Holding his second public forum in as many days, Chattanooga Mayor-elect Andy Berke will take questions and address public safety Thursday night from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the McGilvray Gymnasium at Tennessee Temple University.

Wednesday night, Berke held a similar forum using social media to answer questions posed by interested citizens. Some criticized the mayor-elect, calling his answers "vague at best."

Both events come on the heels of a rash of shootings in the city, where several people have died.

Berke says that the forums are just the beginning, to hear ideas from citizen and gain information.

Thursday night's event will be streamed live, and can be accessed here. The stream will coincide with the event times.

(WRCB) - Good Monday. As you head out this morning, temps will be in the upper 40s and low 50s. The only problem you might face this morning will be the extremely heavy levels of tree pollen in the air. The warm air will feel good, though. The high today should reach 78 degrees.Late today into tonight clouds will build, and we will see some light rain showers Tuesday morning.More
