CHATTOOGA COUNTY, GA. (Times Free Press) -- Voters in Summerville, Ga., overwhelming supported sales of liquor by the glass Tuesday.
The measure, which the City Council voted unanimously to put before
voters in hopes of attracting new restaurants, passed with 52 votes in
favor and six opposed.
"It was a landslide," City Clerk Jill Durham said. "They were overwhelming in favor of it."
City voters already approved Sunday sales of beer and wine by the glass about three years ago.
