Teen murdered on 13th Ave. in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - A teenager found lying in the middle of a Chattanooga street overnight has died.

Police have confirmed to Channel 3 it happened between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m. in the 3200 block of 13th Avenue. 18-year-old Eric Mason Fluellen was discovered lying in the street with gunshot wounds.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives do not believe this is a random shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
