CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- It's a big day for the Chattanooga Salvation Army, and plenty of folks stepped out to celebrate.
Volunteers and members of the community head out to the Hamilton Place Mall Saturday for the 120th birthday of the Chattanooga Salvation Army.
On this day 120 years ago, the Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga began servicing the community, something the salvation army considers a blessing.
"We just want to say thank you to all the volunteers who have helped us, who have worked so hard along side us. We look forward to the next 120 years," said Major Algerome Newsome.
