Cool today, warm weekend ahead

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) --  Start breaking the warm weather clothes out of storage!

While we will be cool today with highs in the low 50s, we are only 1 day away from highs in the low 70s!

Southwest winds will kick up tomorrow allowing for a high of 70 Friday afternoon.  We will stay in the low 70s Saturday and Sunday with lows near 50.

I don't expect any rain today or tomorrow, but we could see one or two passing showers over the weekend. 

The best chance of rain, however, will be Monday night into Tuesday morning when a weak cold front moves through.
