UPDATE: Chattanooga Police have identified the victim of Wednesday's crash on SR-153 as April Fryar of Soddy-Daisy.
The driver of the Chevrolet Blazer was identified as James Floyd; Fryar was a passenger in the vehicle.
Accident witnesses said Floyd swerved into oncoming traffic and struck the semi truck.
Charges may be filed, pending investigation results.
HIXSON, TN (WRCB) -- 153 was partially closed Wednesday after a fatal wreck between a semi truck and a Chevrolet Blazer.
Officials say the crash happened in the 5700 block of 153 in front of the Walmart around 1:20 p.m.
Witnesses say the Blazer flipped and landed on its roof. One person in the vehicle was killed.
The northbound lanes of traffic were closed and traffic was diverted through the parking lot of Walmart.
