Man sentenced for distributing cocaine

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- A man familiar with law enforcement has been sentenced for crack distribution.

Lawande "Peanut" Haggard was sentenced Monday for distribution of cocaine. Haggard was sentenced to 80 months in prison and four years supervised release.

Haggard is not unfamiliar with law enforcement. In 2008 he was arrested for attempted murder and in 2012, he was the victim of a shooting.
