CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - A wheelchair ramp goes up for free for a woman who says she desperately needed it.
Chattanooga resident Robbie Brown is unable to walk.
She says the steps on her porch have kept her from leaving the house much the last couple of years.
Sometimes, she'd have to sit in her car and wait for someone to help her inside.
She contacted, the Modern Woodsmen who donated the supplies and labor.
Volunteers with the "Good Neighbor" program worked all morning to build the ramp for Ms. Brown.
The Modern Woodmen do around 12 projects like this a year.
