CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Get ready for wind and rain throughout the day.
A front coming in from the west has been giving us southerly winds at 10-20 mph. This has been bringing in warm air for a couple of days. Temps will be in the upper 50s near 60 through the day.
The big deal with this front, however, is the rain. Expect up to an inch of rain this morning into this afternoon as the front passes through.
Fortunately, no severe weather is expected, and I would say we won't even see much in the way of lightning or thunder. Periodic heavy rain and gusty winds will be the biggest concerns.
The rain will taper off this evening, then we will see some patchy fog settling in tomorrow morning with lows in the mid 30s.
Mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 50s will be with us Tuesday afternoon.
