CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- I KNOW it's been a mild winter, but boy, am I ready for the warmer weather to return!
That will happen this afternoon. After highs were only able to reach the low 40s yesterday, we will be noticeably warmer with highs in the mid 50s this afternoon. Keep in mind, the normal high for today is 61 ,so we will still be cooler than normal.
Adding to the comfort of the day will be light winds and clearing skies.
Tonight will still be chilly with lows dropping into the low 30s under clear skies tonight.
Friday will be even nicer with sunshine and highs in the low 60s.
A front moving in from the west will cause our winds to shift this weekend, coming in from the south.
That means even warmer air moving in, allowing highs to climb into the mid to upper 60s both Saturday and Sunday!
The front will move through Monday with rain by Monday afternoon.
