Signal Mountain's Town Manager to resign

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, TN (WRCB) -- Honna Rogers, Town Manager of Signal Mountain announced her intent to resign her position as Town Manager.

In the emailed news release, Rogers called the position of Town Manager "demanding" and plans to spend more time with her young son and family.

Rogers also noted that "My husband and I are proud to be residents of Signal Mountain and look forward to raising our son here."

Mayor Bill Lusk said "The Town Council has begun a process to find a new Town Manager,"

Rogers has agreed to remain employed by the town until the completion of the Fiscal Year 2013-14 budget draft process.
