Truck crash slows Interstate 24 at ridge cut

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- An overturned tractor trailer snarled traffic in both directions Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 24 west of the ridge cut.

The trailer ended up against the retaining wall in the westbound left lane as crews worked to remove the trailer and restore traffic flow.

Some debris from the trailer spilled over into the eastbound lanes, forcing workers to span both travel directions for clean-up efforts.

There's currently no word on injuries.
