Couple who imprisoned son in basement to spend time in prison

(WRCB) - A Georgia couple accused of confining their teenage son to his bedroom for years will spend 15 years in prison.

Paul and Sheila Comer plead guilty in a Paulding County courtroom Thursday on child cruelty and false imprisonment charges.

They're accused of keeping their 18 year old son Mitch locked in the home's basement with little food for years.

The comers will serve 15 years in jail, and 15 on probation.
