Signal Mountain student run over by her own car

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, TN (WRCB) -- Some tense moments outside of Signal Mountain High School this afternoon after a car rolled over a student's leg.

According to police, a female student was out of her car when the vehicle began rolling.

She immediately tried to stop the vehicle, but her leg got pinned underneath.

A citizen close by saw the accident and helped get the vehicle off of her.

The student was transported to Erlanger hospital with minor injuries.
