(NBC) - A Catholic Cardinal from Knoxville is headed to Rome to vote for the next Pope.
Before his departure, Cardinal Justin Rigali spoke to students at All Saints Cathedral about his journey.
He explained prayer is a major factor in how the next Pope will be picked.
Cardinal Rigali wouldn't talk about names of potential candidates, but he did discuss what they look for in the next Pope.
Cardinal Rigali helped pick Pope Benedict in 2005.
Pope Benedict's papacy ends at 2:00p.m. Thursday, then the conclave will begin.
