US-101's Dex inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame
NASHVILLE (WRCB) -- Longtime US-101 radio personality Dex was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in the air personality category on Tuesday in Nashviile.
Dex, whose real name is Bill Poindexter, is in his 20th year at US-101. He currently co-hosts with Melissa "Mo" Turner Wagner.
Dex began his radio career in 1971 on WRIP in Rossville, while still attending Rossville High School. He later worked at top-40 giant WFLI before entering the record promotion business with ABC and RCA Records.
