CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Five area girls basketball teams will play for region championships later this week after claiming semifinal wins on Monday night.
Bradley Central is in the final in Region 3-AAA, while McMinn Central and East Hamilton advanced in 3-AA. Silverdale Academy and Whitwell survived in Region 3-A.
All five teams also clinched spots in this weekend's sub-state sectional round with a chance to earn a spot in next week's state tournament. The winners of Wednesday night's region finals will host the sub-state game, while the losers will travel.
