(WRCB) - Good Monday morning!
Expect clouds and mild weather for the first part of the day. Highs will be in the mid 50s. We may see a few light sprinkles during the first part of the day, but more widespread rain will move in late tonight through Tuesday morning.
During that time, we may see .50" to 1" of rain.
Winds will be an issue tonight and tomorrow as well.
There is a WIND ADVISORY in effect for Grundy County, TN as well as DeKalb and Jackson counties in AL for tonight as winds will blow from 15-25 mph with higher gusts.
A HIGH WIND WARNING is in effect for McMinn County. Winds there could be the strongest we see, blowing from 30-40 mph with higher gusts. Wind damage in McMinn County is certainly possible.
Some of the impacts we may see from wind tonight could be downed tree limbs and some power outages.
The commute tomorrow morning will be a bit difficult with the wind and rain, so be careful on the way to school and work tomorrow!
