SoakYa to open Memorial Day weekend

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Construction is well underway on SoakYa, at Lake Winnie.

The new water park is slated to be open May 24th.

Our partners at the Times Free Press report 90% of the earthwork is complete and buildings will begin soon.

The new water park will feature a lazy river, wave lagoon, tube slides, and a water park for toddlers.

General admission will start at $26.

Lake Winnie will open April 13th.
