CLEVELAND, TN (AP) -- Lee University in Cleveland wants to start a 4-year nursing program.
Lee President Paul Conn said Thursday there are a lot of steps to take toward making the program a reality.
The Cleveland Daily Banner (http://bit.ly/WcWFcQ ) reported Lee hopes to have the program available for students in the fall of 2014.
Lee Chief Academic Officer Dr. Carolyn Dirksen has begun a national search for a director of nursing, who will be hired within the next few months.
Lee has grown to become 1 of the largest Christian private schools in Tennessee and the largest in the Appalachian College Association.
