Thursday morning house fire deemed suspicious

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Chattanooga police are calling an Thursday morning house fire suspicious.

Police say no one lived in the house on Arlington Avenue.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the bathroom and kitchen area, but the rest of the house sustained smoke and water damage.

Police say the person renting the house moved out just a few days ago, and all electrical services were disconnected.

The investigation is on going.

No injuries were reported.

The dollar loss is estimated at $10,000.
