CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - An autopsy released Tuesday reveals the gruesome details about the murder of a Chattanooga woman.
The Medical Examiner's report shows Dana Wilkes was decapitated and her hands cut off, before she was found in November near Youngstown Road.
Wilkes was identified by tattoos on her lower legs by her now-deceased husband.
Last month, police made an arrest in the case charging Tony Bigoms with first degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
Court records showed Bigoms was on parole at the time of the murder.
