DALTON, GA (WRCB) -- A hastily scheduled hearing was announced Tuesday for Adolph Ray 'Sonny' Neal, who is accused of killing his wife and her grandfather in Dawnville, GA in May, 2012.
The hearing resulted in a plea deal for Neal; a life sentence in the death of his wife, Jessica Miller Neal and a life sentence without parole for the death of her grandfather, Donald Shedd.
The sentences are to run concurrently.
Neal's trial was scheduled for later this month, where he would have been eligible for the death penalty.
