THP seeks help finding driver in fatal hit and run

NASHVILLE, TN. (WRCB) – Investigators with the Tennessee Highway Patrol need your help finding the driver in a deadly hit and run over the weekend.

THP spokeswoman Dalya Qualls says 45-year-old Janice D. Kelley was found Saturday morning in the median of Interstate 40, at mile marker 137 in Humphreys County.

Qualls says it is believed Kelley was hit Friday evening around 6:30, while walking to get help after her car broke down.

According to Kelley's Facebook page, she was a graduate of UTC and has family in Chattanooga.
