CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The annual Trike-a-Thon in Dalton was a hit.

The pre schoolers of Grove Level Baptist Church rode their bikes and tricycles, with all the safety equipment, raising money for St. Jude's Hospital cancer research.

The children not only rode bikes, but got to play Candy Land on a real life sized board.

And though the kids doing the Trike-a-Thon had a great time, they do understand what a difference each one of them is making.

Through the years, the Trike-a-Thon event has raised more than $55,000 for children's cancer research.

Cook says they were hoping to raise $3,000.
