ATHENS, Ga. (WRCB) -- Georgia's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is the SEC Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
The sophomore guard averaged 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in wins over Auburn and South Carolina last week. The Bulldogs have now won four of their last five games overall, with Caldwell-Pope averaging 19.8 points and shooting 58-percent from the field in that span.
Caldwell-Pope currently ranks second in the league in scoring at 17.5 points per game for the season. He's also in the top 15 in the league in rebounding at 6.6 per contest.
Georgia will play at rival Tennessee at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday night.
