Hydrant hit by car, water pours out on roadway

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - A busted fire hydrant is caused problems on MLK Boulevard Saturday morning.

A car ran off the road and hit the hydrant causing it bust open and spill water on the roadway.

The Holiday Inn Express on MLK had to relocate guests because of water loss.

Crews say it will take 4 to 6 hours to repair the hydrant and to get the street cleaned up.
