UPDATE: School closings and delays for Friday

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- As residents of the Tennessee Valley woke up Friday, some were greeted with snow on the ground from overnight snow showers.

The snow is expected to be well under 1 inch in most areas, but some schools have chosen to delay or close to be safe.

We will continue to update the lists as organizations change their status.
