KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (KNS) -- When Tennessee's Isabelle Harrison drove to the basket and attempted a left-handed layup against Notre Dame, she reinjured the lateral meniscus in her left knee.
An MRI exam on Tuesday revealed the nature of Harrison's latest injury. UT announced before Monday night's game that she had been diagnosed with a lateral meniscus injury, but the 6-foot-3 sophomore center was cleared to play against the Fighting Irish. She started and played 13 minutes, scoring six points and grabbing five rebounds before going down with 5:07 left in the first half.
Harrison had to be helped to the locker room. She returned to Tennessee's bench in the second half on crutches with the knee packed in ice.
