CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Chattanooga's Fountain Square Park was built as a memorial for two firefighters who died in the "Bee Hive" fire of 1887.
Monday, the memorial grew.
Local fire chiefs raised more than $7,000 for two bronze plaques with the names of 13 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Chattanooga Fire Chief Randy Parker calls it a living memorial for all of those who have given their lives for our community.
