CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Brainerd High School is looking for a new head football coach after relieving Stanley Jackson of his duties.
The school's opening is currently posted on the TSSAA website, and Jackson told our media partners at the Times Free Press he felt forced out after a meeting with principal Uras Agee last week.
Jackson was 10-22 in three seasons with the Panthers, who constantly battled low roster numbers against difficult competition in District 6-AA.
Brainerd finished the regular season 5-5 in 2011 and upset top-seeded East Hamilton on the road in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs, but stumbled to a disappointing 1-9 record this past fall.
