Ryan Frantzen was appointed national sales director for Securian’s Financial Institution Group.

Frantzen, a 12-year veteran of the financial services industry, joined Securian in 2008 as a regional vice president for the Financial Institution Group, covering the eastern US. Prior to joining Securian, Frantzen worked in a similar position with Bank Financial Services.
“Ryan has built tremendous relationships with our distributors and clients during his time at Securian, which has resulted in a number of significant sales,” said Dave Seidel, vice president and actuary, Securian Financial Group. Frantzen will report to Seidel and the sales staff will report to Frantzen.
Frantzen, 37, lives in Woodbury, MN and is a native of Cottage Grove, MN. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
