CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Access America announced the addition of 550 new jobs in Chattanooga and Knoxville, with 450 of those jobs as logistics coordinators will be located in Chattanooga.
The company will expand its Chattanooga and Knoxville facilities and create 550 jobs during a five year period – 450 additional jobs at the Chattanooga facility and 100 additional jobs at the Knoxville facility.
The average pay for Access America logistics coordinators will be $72,000 per year. Currently, the logistics arm is a $325,000,000 a year business.
Tennessee Economic Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty called the announcement "world-class jobs in a state that's a logistics powerhouse. It's a homegrown effort with 550 new, high-quality jobs. It's a good example for other entrepreneurs," Hagerty continued.
Access America has grown from two employees to 425 in a ten years span, with nine offices around the country.
