Sheriff's office identifies body found at Lakesite Marina

HAMILTON COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) -- A body, found in a lake over the weekend, has been identified.

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson the body of 45-year-old Erick Charles Warnock was found at Lakesite Marina off Hixson Pike Sunday afternoon.

Investigators believe the man had been in the water for an extended period of time.

A cause of death has not been released.

Atkinson says more information will be released as it become available.
