The finalists were announced Monday, six days before Bobo is set to lead one of the nation's top offenses against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. The winner of that contest will play Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game in Miami in January.
Three finalists are defensive coordinators, including Florida's Dan Quinn, Notre Dame's Bob Diaco and Stanford's Derek Mason. The other nominee is offensive coordinators Kliff Kingsbury of Texas A&M.
Little Rock's Rotary Club will present the award, named for former Arkansas coach Frank Broyles, on Dec. 4.
The 2011 Broyles Award winner was LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis.
