Harrison Pike crash sends woman to hospital

BRADLEY COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) – A crash on Harrison Pike Tuesday sends a driver to the hospital by helicopter.

It happened shortly before 4:00 p.m.

EMS spokesman Stan Clark says a vehicle was hit by another vehicle as it turned off Grove Avenue.

Clark says the impact caused one of the vehicles to flip, forcing firefighters to cut off its roof to free the 54-year-old driver.

The woman was flown to Erlanger for her injuries.

The condition of the other driver is unknown.

The Cleveland Police Department is handling the investigation.
