CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The Chattanooga Parking Authority is giving you a break when parking downtown this Thanksgiving week.
On Thursday, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, you will not have to feed the meters to work, play or shop downtown.
Here is a list of the meter free holidays for 2013 year.
- January 1, 2013 - New Year's Day
- January 21, 2013 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- March 29, 2013 - Good Friday
- May 27, 2013 - Memorial Day
- July 4, 2013 - Independence Day
- September 2, 2013 - Labor Day
- December 25, 2013 - Christmas Day
Parking in areas such as bus or loading zone, yellow curb, no parking, handicap space, Fort Wood Residential District or other unlawful areas are enforceable 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
