CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga held its 30th Annual Anniversary celebration and Equal Opportunity Day Breakfast at the Chattanooga Convention Center Wednesday morning.
Dozens of local business and business leaders attended the ceremony.
Awards were handed out to individual and corporate leaders who continue thriving in civil rights and social justice.
The keynote speaker Marc Morial, CEO of the National Urban League,spoke to attendees about the importance of equal opportunities for everyone.
Morial has been recognized as one of the 100 most influential black Americans by Ebony Magazine.
His company, The National Urban League serves more than two million people each year.
