Corker presents Leadership Award to VW official

(WRCB) - Senator Bob Corker presented a top Volkswagen official with the 2012 Global Leadership Award from the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies.

Dr. Martin Winterkorn is the chairman of the Board of Management with Volkswagen A.G. and was celebrated for strengthening German-American relations.

In New York Tuesday night, Senator Corker praised Winterkorn for his achievements, citing the jobs the Volkswagen Group of America has created in Tennessee and across the United States.

Senator Corker concluded saying he is grateful for their continued support.
