Walker Co., GA makes headlines in Wall Street Journal

WALKER CO., GA (WRCB) - Walker County, Georgia made front page headlines of the nation's largest newspaper Wednesday.

The Wall Street Journal article centers around County Commission write-in candidate Ales Campbell, who wants to replace the sole commissioner form of government with a five person commission.

Georgia is the only state with the sole commissioner form of government.

Only 9 of the state's 159 counties are still governed by the practice.
