VEC plans outage, affects Cleveland customers

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Officials from Volunteer Energy Cooperative warns customers of a planned outage Friday, October 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The downtime will affect Birchwood and areas of Eastview, Brittsville, Grasshopper Road and Georgetown.

The outage is necessary to correct potential problems found as part the VEC substation preventative maintence program.
