UPDATE: Suspect found dead; sought in murder of two adults and 18-month-old child
UPDATE: FAYETTEVILLE, TN. (AP) — Alabama authorities say they have identified a body they found as that of a man who was wanted for questioning in four Tennessee homicides.
Police on Tuesday identified the man as Warren Vincent Crutcher, who was being sought in connection with the slayings of three women and a toddler in Tennessee.
Madison County Coroner Craig Whisenant wouldn't say how Crutcher died, but said it didn't appear to be a suicide.
Whisenant said a fatal shooting in Huntsville, Alabama, also may be related to the case.
FAYETTEVILLE, TN (WRCB) -- Authorities have identified a person of interest in the murder of three people, including an 18-month-old, in a home near the Tennessee-Alabama state line.
Police are searching for 24-year-old William Vincent Crutcher in connection to the murders.
Two adults and one child were found dead in Lincoln County, TN Monday. Friends were randomly called by a 3-year-old on his mother's cell phone about 6:00 a.m.
The children's godmother said when she got the call she went to the house and discovered the victims.
The child's mother was seven months pregnant. Authorities are not saying how the victims were killed.
