UPDATE: Man killed by falling tree in Ringgold

RINGGOLD, GA. (WRCB) - One man in Ringgold is dead after a tree he was working on fell on him.

It happened Monday evening on Condra Road.

When emergency crews arrived the found 74 year old James Henry Blevins pinned under a tree.

According to family members, Blevins had been cutting trees on his property when the incident happened.

Blevins succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
