More traffic enforcement vehicles to be in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Motorists in Chattanooga will soon notice more photo enforcement vehicles around town.

The Chattanooga Police Department announced Thursday additional photo equipment will be installed around the area.

This is in addition to red light cameras.

The police force says the new technology is easier to operate, and more cost effective.

Police traffic stops will operate as usual.

The new police cams go live on Monday.
