We caught up with the Pride of Trion Bulldog Band at LaFayette High School, this season, supporting their football team on a road game. Decked out in their traditional blue, they wowed the home crowd with a show called "Evolution of Jazz".
Director Andy Cox said fans will hear favorites from the 20's, the 40's, the 60's and the modern era. For us. they played "Sing, Sing, Sing!" Also included in the show: "Ol' Man River," "Big Noise from Winnetka," "Sweet Georgia Brown," and "Take 5" from Dave Brubeck. It truly is a jazz musical history lesson with a little something for everyone!
