(WRCB) -- More rain is on the way!
An approaching cold front will bring us warmer weather today. Ahead of a front, you typically see southerly winds that tend to warm things up a bit. We will reach about 77 in Chattanooga.
The front will pass through overnight into Thursday morning and will bring about .50" of rain to the area during that time.
The rain will start to move over the plateau at about 3am. It will move through Chattanooga between 5 and 7am, and then move up into the Blue Ridge between 8 and 11am. No severe weather is expected though an isolated storm or two is not out of the question.
Thursday afternoon we see cooler and drier air settle back in through the weekend. Lows will be in the 40s and highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
