Cleveland man wanted for stealing checks from church

CLEVELAND, TN (WRCB) -- A Cleveland resident, Aaron Zaleta, is wanted by Cleveland Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division on multiple felony warrants.

Zaleta allegedly stole checks belonging  to the Church of God Ministries home office and forged at least four of the stolen checks at area businesses.

Zaleta, also allegedly took items from a  Cleveland man and immediately pawned the stolen items at US Money Shops.  He is wanted for four counts of forgery, one count of theft over $500 and one count of theft under $500.  

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Cleveland :Police Department  Detective Matt Jenkins at (423) 303-3134.
