Forrester Wins Bassmaster Weekend Series Divisional Championship On Lake Chickamauga

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Anglers from Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri and Indiana are in Chattanooga this weekend at Chester Frost Park for a divisional two- day event of the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series. 

The top 20 anglers and top 20 co-anglers will advance to the National Championship event of the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series.  The winner of this national event will receive $100,000.00 and a position to fish in the Bassmaster Classic.  

On the angler side, Tom Forrester from Bloomington, Indiana wins the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series two- day event with 34.17 pounds.  Forrester reported catching his fish on the upper- end of the lake running a flipping and frog pattern.  Forrester said "I caught 12 keepers on Friday and 11 today".  Tom won a Triton 18 Pro boat with a Mercury 115 hp valued at $30,000.00.

Sam Lashlee from Dickson, Tennessee, won Friday's big fish with a 6.16 large mouth.  Saturday's big fish was caught by Steve E. Caudell from Portland, Tennessee, weighing in at 6.31 pounds.

On the co-angler side, Clint D. Harrison from Georgetown, Tennessee, wins the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series two- day event with 13.34 pounds.  Clint won a 17 Pro Triton Boat and Trailer valued at $15,000.00.

John Howell from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, won Friday's big fish with a 5.60 large mouth.  Saturday's big fish was caught by Larry Landrum from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, weighing in at 4.76 pounds.

2-Matt R. Stanley from Alexandria, TN caught 31.20 lbs.
3-Jason S. Smith from Albany, GA caught 30.92 lbs.
4-Brian R. Brown from Kuttawa, KY caught 30.25 lbs.
5-John Morvich from Grantsburg, IL caught 27.10
6-Mark Nies from Cannelton, IN caught 23.57
7-Tom Staley from Dowelltown, TN caught 20.76 lbs.
8-Steve E. Caudell from Portland, TN caught 20.10 lbs.
9-Scott Mansfield from McKenzie, TN caught 19.56 lbs.
10-Scott Hayes from Newnan, GA caught 19.32 lbs.
