Sunday night fire damages Brainerd U.M. Church

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- A fire late Sunday night at the Brainerd United Methodist Church at 4315 Brainerd Road was responded to by the Chattanooga Fire Department. The alarm was received at 11:35 p.m. and several fire companies were dispatched.

Firefighters arrived to a small fire inside the building that was quickly extinguished, Damage to the church was limited and estimated to be approximately $4,000.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
