Brown and Brown Win October CBA

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The team of Rogie Brown and Allen Brown caught a five-bass limit weighing 21.14 pounds to take first place and the $2,000 prize in the James Milling Trucking October  CBA Open Bass tournament this Saturday at Chester Frost Park. They were also the highest finishing Tow Boat U.S. member which was worth an extra $100

Rogie and Allen reported using frogs around grass mats to catch their winning stringer.

The duo of Barry Wingo and Jeff Hineman finished in second place and also won the over-all big-fish honors with a giant largemouth bass weighing 8.00 pounds which earned them an extra $360.

Randy Pippin and Rick Deyoung won the biggest spot award with a spotted bass weighing 3.53 pounds and earned them $120.

Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis won the biggest smallmouth award with a smallmouth bass weighing 3.31 pounds and earned them $120.

The team of Cody Frazier and Taylor Bolton were the highest finishing new team in the event which earned them $120.

The father and son team of Jeff and Josh Reed were the highest finishing Youth Division Team which earned them $60.

Rounding out the remaining top 10 places:

2nd: Barry Wingo Jeff Hineman 20.45 lbs., $750
3rd: Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis 19.61 lbs., $600
4th: Rick Camp and Jamie Hatcher 19.32 lbs., $500
5th: Wes Hardin and Jason Cook 18.36 lbs., $400
6th: Damon Taylor and Teddy Owensby 18.32 lbs., $300
7th: Jared McMillon and J.B. McMillon 17.75 lbs., $300
8th: Greg Lamb and Mark Heatherly 17.05 lbs., $200
9th: Tony Pardue and Mike Swafford 17.01 lbs., $200
10th: Tim Carini and Brent Tullis 16.59 lbs., $150
